Return and Refund Policy

There may be times when you need to return or claim warranty for your online purchase. 


Our Returns and Warranty Policy is designed to assist you in returning or claiming warranty for your product. We would like to remind you that the benefits given by our Returns and Warranty Policy are in addition to other rights & remedies you may have under Australian law.


Product Warranty 

In the unlikely event that a technical issue arises with an Everyday Offgrid sold products, customers are encouraged to initially contact the Everyday Offgrid Support Team at support@everydayoffgrid.com.au for immediate and efficient expertise and first-class product support. 


Returns 

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure & for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality & the failure does not amount to a major failure. 


When to return a product? 

We will offer a replacement, or refund where products have a major failure, such as: 

- When they are faulty 

- Unsafe 

- Wrongly described 

- Different from a sample shown to you

- Do not do what they are supposed to 


Product Assessment 

We may need to conduct an assessment of your product to determine whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate. Certain products may need to be returned to us for assessment. We offer a refund or replacement if the product is assessed as having a major failure. 


How long do I have to claim? 

For all return’s customers have 30 days to make a claim from date of delivery. For any issues that arise on or after 31days please see our warranty policy. 


Expenses 

When a returned product has been recognised and accepted by us, shipping expenses will be refunded. For any replacements where the shipping expense is being covered by Everyday Offgrid, the original shipping address will be used   


Exclusions 

A refund, replacement or repair may not be offered if you: 

- Modify the product 

- Misuse the product 

- Do not abide by user instructions or packaging labels

 - Change your mind or have purchased an incorrect product 


Warranty 

Unless otherwise stated on the Everyday Offgrid site, all products sold by Everyday Offgrid are sold under the manufacturer’s warranty and conditions from the date of purchase. 


Replacement products, repair or refund (including shipping) will be provided by Everyday Offgrid where: 

- The product is faulty; or 

- The product does not match the sample or the Everyday Offgrid descriptions; or 

- The product was damaged during delivery; and

 - You can provide proof of purchase with the Everyday Offgrid receipt 


Replacement product or refund will only be completed upon receipt and inspection of items that are deemed faulty or incorrectly supplied. 


Where a warranty fault has been recognised and accepted by us, shipping expenses will be refunded. For any replacements where the shipping expense is being covered by Escape Electrics, the original shipping address will be used. 


If you receive a faulty product please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
